Factors considered in judging included:

• Value elements in the bundle: Virgin Media were the only ISP to offer 'quad play' packages with four utilities (broadband, home phone, mobile phone and digital TV) locked into one bundle at high-value prices
• Speed: Virgin Media performed very well up to 20Mb in some areas
• Ease of use: Extremely easy to use cable broadband
• Customer satisfaction: High ratings in our independent customer satisfaction and speed tests
