Currently 3 is the only broadband supplier with a SIM-only mobile broadband offering. However, all major companies are expected to follow suit imminently.

3’s offer provides buyers with 5GB of usage for a monthly outlay of just £15 per month. This equates to 5,000 emails or about 50 hours of web surfing - more than enough for all but the heaviest users. Perhaps best of all, though, is that customers are free to cancel their arrangement with just 30 days notice.

To be able to take advantage of 3’s SIM-only mobile broadband, customers must already own a 3 dongle.
