Mobile broadband and WiFi HotSpots
Mobile broadband packages are becoming more competitive on a monthly basis and providers like T-Mobile are throwing in new bonuses to attract customers. T-Mobile are currently offering free WiFi HotSpot access with their mobile broadband packages.

In terms of deal sweeteners, free mobile broadband modems (aka USB sticks and USB dongles) are no longer considered to be the generous prize that they once were as they are given for free with most packages.
T-Mobile and WiFi HotSpots
T-Mobile are the largest provider of public WiFi and have over 1,200 HotSpots in the UK. Many of these HotSpots are hosted by Starbucks in partnership with T-Mobile. T-Mobile HotSpots are also located at key travel locations.
Offering this facility is the icing on the cake for users who work from coffee shops on a regular basis and don’t want to use up their inclusive allowance during this time.
The technology behind the two types of wireless broadband are different, with mobile broadband (or mobile internet) being run over mobile phone networks using 3g technology. Wireless broadband or WiFi hotspots do not run over mobile phone networks, but rather via cable or ADSL connection and a wireless router.
