Talk Talk customers still waiting?
Posted 12th March 2007 at 11:35am by Alex Buttle
Since its big £21 broadband and landline service launch in April 2006 Talk Talk has left many customers frustrated and some customers have even made claims at the small court.
The information taken from The Observer’s ‘Why are we waiting’ campaign, shows that some people have been waiting 11 months (since the launch) for the broadband service, whilst still paying the full monthly amount.
The problems reported are that some are not receiving a connection. Some of those who do, then lose the connection. In either case it appears that customers are being charged for the service. Although some customers have received compensation there are many more without service or reimbursement, getting more and more frustrated.
Charles Dunstone, CEO of Carphone Warehouse, Talk Talk’s parent company, stated that in December Talk Talk stopped recruiting customers due to problems, but now with over 3000 customer service assistants and ‘good progress over the previous month’ the drive for more customers will continue.
