10Mb business broadband deals offered by Timco
Posted 22nd July 2009 at 4:32pm by Kimberley Howson
Business internet provider Timico UK has announced the availability of a new 10Mb ADSL broadband connection.
The broadband supplier is making use of multiple existing BT copper wires to offer its Ethernet in the First Mile (EFM) service.
Customers signing up to the new broadband deal can benefit from installation lead times of 25 days - significantly less than those attached to fibre-optic leased lines, which can take 65 days to set up.
EFM is based on BT Openreach technology and comes with guarantees of four-hour response times to customer complaints and a 20-hour window to fix them.
Trefor Davies, Chief Technology Officer of Timico, said: "The shorter lead times and flexibility in bandwidth selection mean that wide-area network solutions can be implemented far more cost effectively and quickly than has traditionally been the case."
Timico, which specialises in providing broadband deals to businesses, offers a range of network solutions, fixed line and mobile offerings. It also caters for small business and home-based workers.
The company was one of those nominated for the Best Business Customer Service Provider prize at the recent ISPA Awards.
