Reliable broadband vital for Scottish design firm
Posted 14th August 2009 at 12:45pm by Kimberley Howson
A company based in Glasgow, Scotland has revealed how it benefited from switching to a new broadband provider thanks to its faster connection speeds.
Design consultancy RHA Design was perturbed by the amount of time it spent waiting for data files to be sent to or from its customers, especially as the current climate means work deadlines are of the utmost importance.
The issue was particularly troubling for Managing Director Robin Hagman, who decided that enough was enough and a solution had to be found.
As such, Mr Hagman opted to change the company's broadband provider in order to take advantage of a faster, more reliable connection.
The company chose to use the services of telecoms operator abica, which has helped give them increased broadband speeds.
Mr Hagman said: "abica's broadband package is miles faster for both downloading and uploading information through the internet.
"I don't have to worry anymore about speed or file size because the new broadband works brilliantly."
