Be Broadband halves price of Value deal
Posted 15th October 2009 at 2:56pm by Jonathan Leggett
Be Broadband has halved the price of its entry level home broadband deal for a limited period, offering consumers savings of over £80 per year. Find the deal here: Be Broadband Value deal.
As of today, all customers who sign up online for Be’s Value package will pay just £6.75 per month over 12 months – down from £13.75 previously.
This will entitle them to a broadband connection speed of 8Mb and unlimited monthly usage. The Value deal also includes a complimentary wireless router and free around-the-clock, award-winning customer support from the broadband provider’s dedicated team.
In order to qualify for the half-price promotion, customers need to visit Top 10 Broadband’s Be provider page and sign up for the Value deal. They must then enter the code: ‘halfprice’ on completion of their purchase for the discount to apply.
Be’s Value incentive coincides with a similarly attractive promotion on its Unlimited and Pro offerings, whereby subscribers are given a free Amazon voucher worth £25. As with the Value promotion, customers looking to secure the voucher must first visit the Be provider page. Once they have entered their details they can then input the code ‘AMAZON’.
Designed with heavy internet users in mind, both the Unlimited and Pro deals provide users with a broadband connection speed of 24Mb, a free IP address and wireless router. The Unlimited and Pro products are priced at £17.50 and £21.50 per month respectively over nine month contracts.
The Pro offering principally differs from the Unlimited deal in the respect that it is tailored specifically for the needs of online gamers and prioritises gaming traffic. As a result, ‘ping’ – the delay that can impair the online gaming experience – is kept to an absolute minimum.
Jessica McArdle, marketing manager at Top 10 Broadband, said: “Be has always offered quality, premium broadband products and stellar customer service. However, the promotion on the Value deal means that being with Be is now more affordable than ever.”
