Timico has announced that it is featured in the Deloitte Technology Fast 50 for the first time, reaching seventh in the listings.

The Newark-based broadband provider has been highlighted as one of the fastest growing companies in the technology sector by being included in the rankings.

In addition, the recognition follows its recent appearance in the Sunday Times Microsoft Tech Track 100 index.

Tim Radford, Chairman of Timico, said he was "extremely proud" of the company's achievements.

"I believe the addition of our Midlands data centre in Newark next year will allow us to increase our core capacity and provide more co-location and hosted services, as well as a variety of other cloud based services to our customers," he added.

Earlier this year, Timico was shortlisted for Best Business Customer Service Provider at the ISPA Awards, which were held in July.

The company lost out to UK Fast in the category.
