Karoo customers have been urged to upgrade their broadband connections, in order to benefit from a full range of web services.
The Hull-based internet service provider has advised its subscribers to make the move to ADSL2+ broadband, reports ISPreview.co.uk.
It says that in the majority of cases, this latest-generation technology will improve both users' connection speed and line reliability.
A statement read: "We would urge anyone who has not yet made the switch to contact us free from their landline on 602300 and get upgraded.
"It doesn't cost a penny to change packages and you can be up and running in six days."
Karoo is the broadband brand of the Kingston Communciations division of KCOM Group, which recently announced the launch of a new business.
Affiniti and Kingston Communications (outside Hull and East Yorkshire) have merged to create the new company Kcom.
