Subscribers to Virgin Media's broadband TV bundles are being encouraged to stay in this Valentine's weekend and put their feet up in front of the TV.
The broadband provider is making themed episodes of shows such as Gossip Girl, Friends and ER available for viewing via its on-demand TV service just the ticket for loved-up couples and dreamy romantics.
In addition, favourite rom-coms such as Love Actually and Head Over Heels have been added to the Movies on Demand options, providing a great alternative to a night out on the town.
Classic romantic period dramas including Wuthering Heights and Jane Austen's Emma are also available for viewing, as Virgin Media attempts to cater for all ages and interests.
If however the idea of Valentine's Day makes you shudder with dread, the prospect of high definition access to Eurosport through the firm's broadband TV packages may hold greater appeal.
The channel is expected to become available for subscribers from April, offering coverage of major events such as the Tour de France and the French Open tennis.
