Blackberry predates the iPhone by a few years, but for a while there it seemed like Blackberry phones were going to be overtaken in all respects by the next generation of smart phones. Fortunately, though, with models like the Torch 9800, Blackberry has reclaimed the crown among phones that are meant to be used simply as phones. If you don’t need all the bells and whistles of an iPhone or an Android phone, Blackberries are still the best.

Personally, I find these actual keyboards easier to use than the sketchy electronic varieties included in phones such as the iPhone, but I can see why others might want to keep things simple by having nothing more than a touch screen and a single button.
