The iPhone has revolutionized the mobile phone, and smart phone industry, with the iPhone Four just being released I am wrapping up the top ten apps to get from your app store.

  1. CoPilot Live UK

At £19.99 its far from the cheapest app on the iPhone, however its much cheaper than its TomTom app competitors, as well as being much cheaper than a Sat Nav itself, the app has complex street maps of all roads in the UK and Ireland, as well as including seven digit postcodes for all areas. I think the greatest thing about this app has to be the live up to date information you can receive about the roads you are traveling on whether it be queuing, diversions or even just speed cameras. The app can be personalized to your driving needs with a clear lane indicator making it much clearer and easier to navigate at a complex junctions. It’s so simple and easy to plan a journey with this app and the multi-stop trips, way-points, and pre-trip planning features that are available. This app has fantastic reviews and its really not hard to see why.

This app is simple, and basic, but fantastic at keeping you up to date with the latest news when you’re on the go. The navigation on this app is key, with a lot of information available to view it wasn’t going to be easy but the way this app is laid out has certainly paid off for them. You can read the latest news headlines, or narrow it down to the latest business, sport or showbiz news to name a view, with the option to view videos on a range of stories. If all this wasn’t enough you can watch the Sky News TV live, or view past news videos, as well as having the chance to discuss the latest news through forums built into the app.
