  1. Star Wars: The Force Unleashed

    Star Wars: The Force Unleashed

It has been a very long time since there was a Star Wars game released that comes close to being as good as Knights of the Old Republic. Thankfully, The Force Unleashed is perfect for Star Wars fanatics and casual gamers alike and for me has provided hours of fun and interesting gameplay.

  2. Killzone 2

    Killzone 2

PlayStation's answer to Halo, Killzone 2 offers unmatched graphics as you are Sergeant Shevchenko, whose only one grunt among many in the retaliatory invasion of Helgan by the ISA forces.

  3. Assassin’s Creed II

    Assassin’s Creed II

I always found Assassins Creed very repetitive and after a while it got extremely boring. The creators have returned with the second installment of the Assassins Creed franchise and the improvements are vast. More in-game activities, better controls, even more stunning visuals and a much more gripping and engrossing storyline make Assassins Creed II a real contender for game of the year.

  4. Little Big Planet

    Little Big Planet

Fun pick up and play gameplay, stunning visuals and intuitive physics make Little Big Planet one of the most enjoyable and laid back gaming experiences I have had on my PS3. There are hours of playable online levels, hours of offline levels and millions of customisations you can make to ‘sackboy’ to personalise each and every detail of the game. For fun, chilled out gaming this is the best I’ve played on PS3.

  8. Resistance: Fall of Man

    Resistance: Fall of Man

Despite it being a launch title, Resistance still holds up as an amazing game, 3 years after its release. Set in an alternative 50s, where an alien race the Chimera have invaded Europe, you play Sgt. Hale tasked with defending the realm.

  9. Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare

Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare

For me, Call of Duty 4 or “CoD4” as it is commonly abbreviated to, was the first game to offer the best playing experience online. The story and the graphics of the game play in mission mode is fantastic and truly enjoyable but the online competition of playing others around the world make it both groundbreaking and addictive. In terms of quality and hours of game play it has to be the greatest PS3 game to date.

  10. Gran Turismo 5

    Gran Turismo 5

Gran Turismo 5 hasn’t even been released yet but I am confident that this is without a doubt going to be one of the best Playstation 3 games of all time. The trailers and teaser videos released so far have shown the sheer amount of effort that has gone into creating this vast game. Hundreds of cars, plenty of tracks and an online 16 player mode will make GT5 not only the best designed racing game but the most playable and varied.
