Apocalypse Now isn't only the greatest war films of all time, it's also the best movie i've ever seen. Multiply the word Epic by a million and a half and you still wont be able to describe this film. with such an amazing plot and amazing characters, this movie is more than just a movie, it's an experience. But don't believe me, watch it for yourself and find out.

This movie has some powerful stuff in it. I swear, it's the only movie i've ever seen that i had to cover my eyes cause i just couldn't watch. The russian roullete scene is the tensest i've ever seen.

This movie is awesome because it demonstrates two different opinions which are both right and are very hard to choose from. Should the british sabotage the bridge to foil the japanese plans, or should they make the best bridge they for the glory of britian. at the end, even the main characters can't seem to choose.

This movie really makes you hate the higher classes of the army. A tragic story of 3 troops who are sentenced to death because they didn't partake in a suicide mission, and are charged for cowardice in front of the enemy. Oh, the inhumanity!

The ultimate WWII film, this is a spielberg masterpiece. very powerfull especialy for Israelis like myself. a magnificent work of art

Maybe the most realistic war movie ever, well deserving of the best picture award, this movie is nothing short of epic.

I swear, if the entire movie was at the marine camp, i would of ranked it much higher on the list. Nontheless, a great war epic by The infamous Kubrick.

The most graphic war movie in history, this movie shows maybe more than the rest the significence of human life.

Wonderfull acting and the famous beach scene in enough to get it to the top 10, so add on to that the attack on pearl harbor and youv'e got yourself a film.

This movie is tense! Maybe the best movie in the 2000's to win best picture.
