  1. Full Metal Jacket

    Full Metal Jacket

The controversial war in Vietnam has spawned the most realistic view of the senselessness of modern combat. Directed by Stanley Kubrick Full Metal Jacket bathes you in the blood of the experience. From the masterfully played Drill Sergeant ( R. Lee Emery ) to the pressure cracked jar head ( Vincent D’Nofrio ) to the joker journalist this movie displays this war as few have before or since

  2. Henry V

    Henry V

Still a shining example of the glories and pitfalls of warfare. Shakespeare, as directed by Branagh divides the story between the two sides in the conflict. A host of the RSC acting company pushed through the narrative by Derek Jacobi and assisted by an angelically young Christian Bale. It definitely outshine’s Olivie'sr wartime propagandist Henry.

  3. Bridge on the River Kwai

    Bridge on the River Kwai

This movie is awesome because it demonstrates two different opinions which are both right and are very hard to choose from. Should the british sabotage the bridge to foil the japanese plans, or should they make the best bridge they for the glory of britian. at the end, even the main characters can't seem to choose.
