Best For

Diamond Whites is meant for mild and medium-range dental imperfections. These include overcrowding, gapped spacing, overbites, etc. The treatment is not meant for extremely severe dental issues.

How Does it Work?

Diamond Whites calls itself a hybrid business because it provides consumers with the convenience of online ordering and at-home treatments but also offers in-clinic treatments if you prefer to speak with an orthodontist face to face. So, if you have the desire, you can visit one of the Diamond Whites clinics, have your teeth assessed for eligibility, and be fitted for teeth aligners.

Most people would prefer the online and at-home method. Here’s how that works:

  • Ordering

Go online and choose the impressions kit or the full service.

  • Fitting

Diamond Whites will send you a kit to take two impressions of your teeth (in case the first one doesn’t come out right, you already have the second one on hand). When you’ve completed the impressions, you’ll send them back to Diamond Whites with photos of your teeth so a dental team can assess them.

The team will review your case to see if you are a good candidate for the aligners. If you are, then you’ll receive your 3D renders based on your impressions. If you approve, aligners will be tailor-created to fit your treatment plan.

  • Receiving

If you’re happy with the renders, Diamond Whites will send you a set of aligners along with a scan box that is used to monitor your progress each month. Aligners generally take around ten days to arrive. You’ll need to wear your aligners every day and switch them out according to your treatment plan. It is recommended that you wear them for 22 hours a day for the best results.

  • Results

Results will vary depending on the treatment plan, dental severity, and your punctiliousness in wearing your aligners. But Diamond Whites says that most cases are straightened out in six months. One of the major benefits of working with Diamond Whites is the scan box. This is a tool that allows you to take pictures of your teeth with your phone. You’ll then send the photos to the clinic and have an orthodontist assess your progress, making any necessary tweaks to your personalized treatment plan. This has a significant contribution to the overall success of the treatment.

Diamond Whites costs £1300 upfront, with a £99.99 deposit for the home impressions kit. That deposit is applied to the overall cost of the teeth aligners. This is a little higher than the industry average. You can purchase just the impressions kit, but you’ll have to pay the remainder of the £1300 before receiving your aligners. So there isn’t much point in that.

Alternatively, you can choose from various financing options if you prefer to pay off your straightening treatment over time. Diamond Whites offers three financing options, spread out over 12, 36, or 60 months. The 12-month option is 0% interest, which means you’ll pay the same amount as you would if you paid for the entire thing upfront. The 36 and 60-month plans incur a 9.9% interest fee. So you end up paying slightly more for the convenience of spreading your payments out for a longer period of time.

Diamond Whites also has a teeth whitening kit for £34.99 and whitening pens.

What You Get

One of the biggest benefits of using Diamond Whites is that it comes with a lot of support. To begin with, you have the option to go into a clinic, an unusual offer for online services. What’s more, registered dentists review your case before aligners are made to ensure this is a suitable treatment process for your situation. Finally, Diamond Whites dentists monitor the movement of your teeth each week to check that everything is progressing correctly. If you have any problems or issues, dental staff members are available for you to reach out to.

In addition to hands-on support, when you order a kit, you’ll receive:

  • Home impressions kit
  • 3D renderings (before and after)
  • Full set of aligners
  • Scan box used to measure your progress

You’ll also get a whitening kit for free. The retainer does not come included with your package. If you want one, you’ll need to pay an additional £200 to receive the retainer.

Guarantee

One thing that we didn’t like about Diamond Whites is that it doesn’t offer any sort of results guarantee.

Insurance

Diamond Whites does not currently work with insurance.

Customer Service

Diamond Whites offers telephone and email support. Additionally, you can browse the short FAQ section on the website. More than this, though, Diamond Whites has a team of professional dental clinicians available to answer questions. Monthly monitoring is also managed by dentists.

Bottom Line

Diamond Whites combines convenience and affordability with professionalism and timely results. The impressions and treatment can be done at home, and financing options make it easier on the wallet. Diamond Whites wins us over by having professional monitoring of your progress as well.
