Best For
SmilePath has a quick quiz you can take to see if you are the right candidate for these aligners. After taking the quiz, SmilePath will tell you if you’re a good fit. In general, these aligners are good for people with overcrowding, uneven teeth spacing or gaps, or protruding teeth. Overbites, underbites, and other similar, minor dental issues are also eligible. SmilePath is not suitable for major dental corrections.
How Does it Work?
To begin with SmilePath, you’ll take a short quiz that asks you what type of dental problems you have, if you have any missing teeth or inflamed gums or the like, and whether you’ve worn any braces in the past. Props to SmilePath for one of the easiest quizzes out there.
From there, SmilePath will send you your smile projection. That’s basically a projection of how your teeth will shift during the course of the treatment and what your teeth will look like at the end of the treatment. The treatment plan is based on your impressions and the consultation of a team of professional dentists. If you’re happy with the projection, you’ll receive your set of clear aligners along with a treatment plan that was designed by a team of dentists.
Wear the correct aligner for each stage and switch them out according to your treatment plan. When you receive your clear aligners, you’ll need to wear them for 20-22 hours a day, every day, for anywhere from 6 to 10 months, depending on the severity of your dental problems. If you choose the night-only aligners, the treatment plan will obviously take a bit longer.
Pricing
SmilePath is known to be a more affordable option for clear aligners. The cost of the entire treatment is $1449 (it’s usually $1899, but you can use a recurring promo code to get the $400 discount).
If you’re not really sure about this yet, you can order an impressions kit for $55 and decide later if you want to go through with the aligners. If you do, SmilePath will discount the $55 from the total cost of the aligners. The kit comes with prepaid return shipping too. And FYI, shipping is free within Australia.
What You Get
Each plan comes with:
- Impressions kit (unless you bought yours previously)
- Smile projection
- Full set of aligners
- 6 years of clear retainers for free
That last one is a huge deal. Most clear aligner services require you to purchase retainers separately. The fact that SmilePath provides you with a retainer at all is already at least a $50 saving. And SmilePath gives you enough to last six years! That’s massive.
Within the impressions kit, you’ll get the putty and trays you need to create your impressions, a cheek retractor for easier maneuvering, and prepaid shipping labels.
Additionally, SmilePath sets you up with a Smile Crew Member. You can get in touch with this staff member at any point during your treatment with questions and concerns you have about your treatment. The Smile Crew member will respond with an answer from one of the dental specialists.
Guarantee
SmilePath does not have a specific guarantee policy. Instead, it says that its policies, like its aligners, are tailored to fit its customers. So if you have a problem with your aligners, treatment plan, or results, you can speak to SmilePath directly and get a new set of aligners. You will have to provide pics of your treatment course.
Insurance
SmilePath does not currently work with or accept insurance plans.
Customer Service
SmilePath has a helpful FAQ section on the website. What’s more, you can email or call for questions. And SmilePath has a live chat option that is always available 24/7. That’s a big deal. You also have the option of reaching out to your Smile Crew member.

Testimonials
Amazed at my outcome!
I have had a great experience so far. I am on my retainers and still feel some pressure. Near the end my teeth moved a little slower than in the beginning so I would leave them on a little longer if I felt I had to. I can't wait for the final result after the retainers. I have had zero issues with customer service or the aligners. I would suggest getting additional retainers. I didn't and I'm terrified I have the chance of losing my retainers. Getting a second pair would have saved a lot of anxiety. All my aligners fit well along my gums. I also suggest getting the chewies, they'll help with stubborn teeth movement. I didn't think it was possible my teeth can become straight with aligners but the outcome was amazing!” - Lan Blake July 20
Great products, service and highly recommend it.
Not knowing what to expect, I was very pleasantly surprised on the effectiveness, and working with Alignerco. I found them very responsive, pleasant to work with, and absolutely great service. The aligners are very clear, quality and fit great. I had no issues, and not hesitant to recommend it to my family and friends.” - Omkar Naik, July 24
Kept communication open with updates on aligners. They also send reminder's to take photos and switch aligners which with my schedule is very helpful.” - Cicely June 26
This service is worth getting because it has been three months with my aligners and I can see the shift in my teeth. I am just waiting to see the end results but I am sure these aligners will close the big gap in my front teeth.” - Marry Robert June 6
Bottom Line
