Bev is anything but your typical wine club. In fact, its whole goal is to break the mold. Founded, designed, and run by women, Bev seeks to empower females across the world to redefine themselves and their views on the female role in the world. Focused on equality, accountability, and respect, Bev seeks to reshape the world’s perspective by highlighting female empowerment across the board. It also wants to reframe the until-recently, male-defined drinking culture. And that’s where the wine comes into play.

Bev has a collection of fun and fruity wine blends. The flavors vary, but the general theme is crisp, dry, and fizzy. And while the drinks are very flavorful and sweet, Bev blends contain zero sugar, additives, or artificial flavors. They contain 100 calories per serving and only have 3 carbs per can. What’s more, Bev is the first recognized TTB-approved canned wine to take the sugar out of the formula after it’s been fermented.

All Bev wines are made from Central Coast Cali grapes. In keeping with the theme, Bev beverages are delivered in cans, not glass bottles, because cans can be recycled easily and are generally better for the environment. Plus they like to be different.

Membership Options

Bev has a subscription option that you can sign up for to get discounts on every order. When you become a member, you’ll get shipments automatically delivered once a month. You can choose the number of cans you want in your order. And the nice thing about this subscription is that you can cancel any time without penalty.

Bev wine blends are available in packs of 8, 24, and 48. Bummer that you can’t buy these delicious drinks in single-use. But really, you’re not going to want to drink one can of these blends, so the larger packs are the preference anyway. Here’s a pricing guide for the various flavors:

These prices are before the Bev Club discount. You get a 20% discount on orders when you sign up for a membership. So you’ll pay $39 instead of $49, $79 instead of $99, $47 instead of $59, $95 instead of $119, $70 instead of $99, $152 instead of $190, and $175 instead of $219.

You can also get a variety pack if you aren’t sure which flavor you’ll like best or if you are just starting out with Bev and want to try out a little of everything to find your favorite. The Ladies Night pack has a few of all three of the standard flavors (Blanc, Rose, and Gris). The Glitz is an exclusive blend only available for members. Sorry ladies.

Bev beverages are available in restaurants and stores around the country. But one annoying thing is that you can’t get these delicious drinks everywhere. Goes great with: The Blanc is a cool flavored wine with crisp green apples, white nectarines, and fresh citrus punch. Enjoy with fish, cheeses, and desserts.

3. Bev Glitz

Goes great with: Glitz is the word for this extra-dry and fizzy-full wine made from elderflower and pears. Serve this fizzy delight alongside meats, roasted vegetables, and rich fish like salmon.

Bottom Line

Bev is the wine equivalent of a female lioness. These fruity, fizzy blends are silky smooth, sleek, and chic. The flavors are rich but don’t come with any added sugars or extra calories to load them down. And Bev does a great job of getting you a hefty helping of fun and flavor delivered to your door.
