PerfectBody at a Glance
What is PerfectBody?
PerfectBody is a weight loss program that advertises itself as “the last diet you will need.” It provides fully personalized meal and workout plans that take into account not only your diet but also your lifestyle. With the PerfectBody app, you can track what you eat, along with your water intake, daily steps, and even sleep.
Most people give up on diets because they can’t eat the foods they like, or they’re discouraged when they don’t see rapid progress. With PerfectBody, recipes are recommended based on your food preferences. You’re also given a clear estimate of the amount of time it will take for your weight to decrease.
If you love home cooking but don’t know what foods will help to manage your weight, PerfectBody will take away the guesswork. Recipes come complete with shopping lists, all within the calorie goal you’re expected to maintain in order to reach your weight goal.
PerfectBody Meal Plans
PerfectBody doesn’t have a set of menus or meal plans like meal delivery or meal kit services. This is because PerfectBody is based on a survey of your dietary preferences, how much time you have to prepare food, how active you are, and even whether or not you are a breakfast eater.
From this information, the dietitians at PerfectBody construct a personalized meal plan consisting of an assortment of calorie-controlled recipes to promote weight loss.
Unlike some similar services, PerfectBody doesn’t just include evening meals and will add breakfast if you indicate on the survey that it’s part of your lifestyle. What’s more, it includes a complete shopping list to save you from having to compile one yourself from all the recipes provided.
How PerfectBody Works
How To Get Started With PerfectBody / How To Sign Up for PerfectBody
To get started, visit PerfectBody’s homepage and select your gender. You’ll then complete a 20-question survey about your food preferences, exercise habits, and the time you have available to prepare meals. I liked how in-depth this was—for example, it not only asked me if I liked meat but went on to ask what types I prefer on a scale of “hate it,” “neutral,” or “love it.”
Finally, you indicate any allergies or medical conditions you have and input your height, current weight, and goal weight. PerfectBody will then populate a timeline to tell you when you’ll reach your goal weight on their diet plan.

The pricing of your plan depends on how you answer the questionnaire. The plans offered are on six-month, three-month, or monthly tiers, and you’ll be billed according to the frequency you choose. The longer the plan you choose, the more you save.

After you place your order, the dietitians at PerfectBody will craft a personalized, 28-day meal plan for you and send it via email in two hours or less. One drawback is that there’s no opportunity to see what your meal plans will look like before you pay. However, regardless of which frequency subscription you choose, you can generate a new plan every 28 days to accommodate your new physical condition and vary your diet.
PerfectBody Customer Service
If you need support while using PerfectBody, the primary form of contact seems to be email at hello@perfectbody.me. PerfectBody promises to get back to you within a few days. Unfortunately, if you’re based in the US, you cannot access PerfectBody by phone as the company is based in Lithuania and there’s no chat feature.
That said, there’s an extensive FAQ section on the Support Us page that has articles to answer most concerns that may arise, such as how to request a refund or even tips on eating out. You can also use the search option on this page to find the relevant articles pertaining to your issue.
How To Cancel or Pause a PerfectBody Subscription
There’s no option to pause your subscription with PerfectBody, as there are no deliveries. However, if you’d like to cancel, you can contact customer support at hello@perfectbody.me.
During the cancellation process, you can apply for a partial refund within 14 days by emailing customer support. You’ll need to provide your receipt of payment, along with details about how the diet plan did not meet the product description on PerfectBody’s website. Be aware that PerfectBody notes in its FAQs that transaction disputes can take months to resolve.
Is There a PerfectBody App?
PerfectBody does have an app, with a rating of 4.3 out of five stars in the Apple app store. Most reviews praise the ease of use and the excellent customer service when dealing with any issues.
I also like how the app allows you to integrate the health data from PerfectBody with the iOS HealthKit. Besides calorie tracking, the PerfectBody app has additional features such as a calorie counter that automatically records calorie intake, calorie burn, and remaining calories for the day. This helps you see if you’re on track with your intake even while on the go.

How Much Does PerfectBody Cost?
Even though the payment page outlines the weekly price of PerfectBody, you’re billed according to the monthly frequency you choose when you sign up. For example, if you choose the three-month plan, you’ll be charged a flat rate every three months.
The price of the subscription may vary slightly depending on the answers you provide in your survey. Nonetheless, my results indicated prices of $67, $52, and $39 for a six-, three-, and one-month plan, respectively.

If you already have a sound knowledge of nutrition and fitness but are just looking for a bit of guidance in terms of what to shop for to make a solid meal plan, the monthly plan is likely sufficient.
However, if you have a lot of weight to lose or require an entire overhaul of your lifestyle, the six-month support would be more suitable. This is because you’ll likely need to follow the program for a longer period of time to see results, so renewing at the monthly level could be needlessly costly.
Note that what you’re paying for is information on what to buy for your meal plan, not the meals themselves. Thus, there are no shipping costs, and the weekly price is very low compared to meal delivery services and formal nutrition counseling. However, keep in mind that you’re still responsible for the grocery costs, which can vary.

PerfectBody vs HelloFresh
HelloFresh is a meal kit service that delivers a box of ingredients weekly to your door, along with recipe cards on how to prepare them for a meal. With PerfectBody, you’re also provided with recipes but have to shop for ingredients yourself. Finally, PerfectBody is ideal for those trying to lose weight, whereas HelloFresh is more designed for convenience.
PerfectBody vs Home Chef
Home Chef is another meal kit service that sends you either conveniently pre-portioned ingredients to prepare or oven-ready meals that simply require assembly and baking. With PerfectBody, you have to obtain your own ingredients, but along with your recipes you’ll receive nutritional guidance to support your weight goals.
PerfectBody vs Factor
Factor is a meal delivery service that provides pre-prepared meals that you can microwave and enjoy within minutes. PerfectBody provides meal plans in the form of recipes that you must shop for and prepare yourself, so the prep and cooking time can vary significantly compared to Factor meals.
Bottom Line (Is PerfectBody Worth It?)
I really like how PerfectBody’s personalized approach to weight loss uses the data and preferences that you provide. Most traditional diets fail because people often feel constantly hungry and under pressure to eat foods they don’t like. However, the recipes you receive in PerfectBody’s dietitian-designed meal plans will only include the foods you like within the recommended calorie allowance.
Unlike meal delivery services, however, you do have to shop for your own ingredients, along with doing all of the prepping and cooking. Additionally, you typically know how much you can expect to pay every week with a meal delivery service. With PerfectBody, despite your subscription being fixed, the cost of ingredients could vary widely, making it potentially difficult to reliably budget around the service.
All in all, the level of personalization involved with PerfectBody is like having your own dietitian, but at a fraction of the cost. What impressed me most is how PerfectBody reflects the wellness philosophy of most nutrition professionals: the best weight loss plan is not one-size-fits-all, but the one that most closely resembles the person’s current lifestyle.
